Hello Everyone!

Today was a Snow Day in NYC, it also was my first day of doing a GIVEAWAY! IT made a perfect day for people to stay in and use up social networking on the web (Facebook, Twitter, CPN, Blogger...etc.). Thank you Snow-day; Our Cupcake in a Jar GIVEAWAY seems to be a success so far!

I'm pretty excited to see who the winner is! So far I have over 50 people who have entered! I will be posting sometime tomorrow day/evening who the winner is!
No later than 1/31/11, I will ship out to the lucky winner our Tasty Cupcake in a Jar (any flavor, frosting and topping of the winners choice).

I think I'm going to do this once a month! I don't mind giving away some of our products; especially to those who are new to it, skeptic on trying it or who has really never heard of us..... That's our goal!

Well today is my first day Blogging!

I'm not too sure what I'm supposed to blog about, so you all bare with me please.

My name is Ck King, I am 34yrs old Wife and Mother of 2.

I and Jason (my hubby) began our Cupcake Business in late summer of 2010,
The Cavity Shoppe with the tag line of "Where the fillings are sweet" after I came to a very rough time in my life. I sought therapy in Baking, to keep my mind off of what was my reality at that particular time was and it became a reality to continue with my "therapy" and pursue it as a business.

Jason being baking savvy and very computer literate and I having a Business degree and baking savvy as well we were able to create a very small business. As time passed by it became larger than what we had expected in such a short period of time. We had to play catch-up with the Business as it began to boom!

We started with just a few flavors and by the time of this blog; we're at 28 flavors strong. We also only had 1 main product---> Cupcakes, and we only made them in two different sizes ONLY.

We knew with just mini's and regular sized Cupcakes would eventually become boring and non-challenging.

I began to think of different treats to create and sell..... Then our Cupcake in a Jar idea hit; and it hit hard! Especially with the Catering children's parties for 1-2hours with allowing the children at the particular party create their own Cupcake in a Jar masterpiece as I supply all the ingredients/supplies in doing so.

Then we began our Bites and Pops, which are miniature (smaller than our minis) version of cupcakes made into a several of designs and colors all covered in chocolate flavor candy melts.

Then we began to ship across the States our Jars, Bites and Pops with Guaranteed freshness.

We also have a variety of Cakes. We can do sheet, 1/2 sheet and Round Cakes to Order. Since we specialize in EVERYTHING Cupcake we do our Cakes for our Clients on an order basis.
